After the first Olympic appearance of Snowboarding in Nagano in 1998, Les Gets joined the development of this sport by organizing 3 World Cups: 1998, 2000 and 2001.
In 2000 on this track the Snowboardcross event was held: the Frenchman Sylvain Duclos won it for the men; and for the women, Austria's Ursula Fingerlos won the victory, relegating France's Marie Laissus to second place on the stage.
