Les Gets Tourisme, Les Gets town hall and the Musée de la Musique Mécanique welcome you for the European Heritage Days.
The first edition was such a great success that the resort invites you to come and learn about local history thanks to the national ‘Living Heritage’ and Sports Heritage’ themed events.
Programme of tours and exhibitions 🌷
➡️ Saturday 16 September:
10am : Visit to the Fruitière des Perrières
2pm – Tour – De l’ombre à la lumière : L’essor de la station sportive des Gets (From the shadows into the light: the growth of Les Gets ski resort)
2.30pm – Exhibition – Regards sur le passé : L’événement “Les Gets autrefois” (A look into the past: the ‘Les Gets of yesteryear’ event) – free admission
4pm – Tour – Au coeur d’une tourbière (At the heart of the peatland)
➡️ Sunday 17 September:
10.30am – Tour of the Père Delavay Botanical Garden
2.30pm – Exhibition – Regards sur le passé : L’événement “Les Gets autrefois” (A look into the past: the ‘Les Gets of yesteryear’ event) – free admission

3pm – Musical conference on songbirds with Alice Julien-Laferrière, cello player and utopian naturalist
3.30pm – Wooden horses merry-go-round opens
3.45pm – Special tour entitled ‘Volatiles’ (birds)
4.45pm – Afternoon refreshments with the birds
5pm – Musical conference on songbirds with Alice Julien-Laferrière

6.30pm – Evening refreshments to music at the Place Limonaire

Admission to the Musée de la Musique Mécanique is €8 (reduced rate) and free for children under the age of 12.
