The french mountain is mobilising for children

Following the success of the ‘P’tits Flambeaux 2024’, France Montagnes is once again organizing this national mountain solidarity event again in February 2025, with the support of the Association Nationale des Maires des Stations de Montagne, Domaines Skiables de France and the Syndicat National des Moniteurs du Ski Français. The goal is to introduce young people to the mountains by offering those who have never had the chance to get to know them the chance to go on holiday in the French mountain ranges and enjoy their benefits.

Join us at the bottom of the slopes on february 20th

The participating resorts will be organizing a spectacular torchlight descent in partnership with the French Ski Schools (ESF), ski areas, and tourist offices. A bright, colorful, and emotional event not to be missed.

To mark the occasion, 20,000 torches will be distributed in the participating resorts.

All proceeds raised will be donated to three associations dedicated to helping sick or disadvantaged children find comfort and well-being by introducing them to the joys of the mountains: Association Petits Princes, Génération Montagne, and Enfance et Montagne.

Together, let’s light up the French mountains for children on Thursday, January 20, 2025.

All the benefits will go to associations like “Association petits princes”, “Génération Montagne” et “Enfance et Montagne”

On the same evening, all the French Ski Schools (ESF) are joining forces to organise simultaneous charity torchlight descents in French resorts, in partnership with the Association Nationale des Maires des Stations de Montagne and Domaines Skiables de France.

Our goal? To raise as much money as possible for charity programmes that enable children who are not fortunate enough to be able to go on holiday to discover our magnificent mountains and their benefits. All profits will be donated to 3 associations: Enfance et Montagne, Génération Montagne and Petits Princes through the “Famille Plus, la montagne solidaire” operation.
