Organised on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and coordinated by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs, the “Rendez-Vous aux Jardins” invites you to discover and enjoy the richness of public and private parks and gardens throughout France with the background theme of “Garden Music”.

The resort of Les Gets participates in this national cultural event through the botanical garden of Père Delavay. Discover the unique plant collection of the Père Delavay botanical garden.

On the programme:

Saturday 3 June
🌸 10am to 6pm: Visit of Father Delavay’s botanical garden with a background theme of “The music of the garden”.
🌸3pm: In the footsteps of Father Jean-Marie Delavay

Sunday 4th June
🌸 10am to 6pm: Visit of Father Delavay’s botanical garden with a background theme music of the garden”
🌸 10am and 11am: Visits to the heart of a peat bog, offered also as part of the Chablais Geopark Week
🌸 3pm: In the footsteps of Father Jean-Marie Delavay

Les Gets Tourisme, Les Gets town hall and the Musée de la Musique Mécanique welcome you for the European Heritage Days.

The first edition was such a great success that the resort invites you to come and learn about local history thanks to the national ‘Living Heritage’ and Sports Heritage’ themed events.

Mr Philippe Mugnier, author of the book Des Gets au Léman : une saga entre foi et loi will give a lecture on Les Gets history on Monday 10 August at 8.30 p.m. in the Salle de la Colombière.
