Lounge Music Festival: intimate concerts in wide-open spaces

Want to live sound experiences in unusual places in the mountains ? Or simply let yourself be carried by the music at a terrace corner ? The Lounge Music Festival offers it all from 03 to 14 August 2020 in the resort of Les Gets.

For its 10th edition, the Lounge Music Festival offers you open-air musical breaks in unusual scenic places in the resort. Here, at the top of Mont Chéry, there on the terrace of a restaurant, or there on the Esplanade of the Maison des Gets.

Monday 3 August from 8:30 pm on the Esplanade stage

To kick off this 2020 edition of the Lounge Music Festival, we are delighted to introduce two groups with warm rhythms and communicative energy.

Racoon: 3 musicians have come together for an eclectic acoustic project that revisits the masterpieces of the 20th century.

Bear’s Tower is a story of friendship between 4 musicians : Aurélien and his folk guitar, Olivier and his electronic compositions and the vibrant rock energy brought by twin brothers Tommy and Nathan.

Wednesday 5 August at 11:30 am at the restaurant le Belvédère at Mont Chéry

Why not take advantage of a musical break during your day’s walk around Mont Chéry ? The jazz-folk duet Emelia Rose will bring a poetic and sparkling touch to your picnic.

Friday 7 August at 7:30 pm at the top of Mont Chéry

At the top of the Mont Chéry, facing the Mont Blanc, Balaphonik Sound System takes you into its eclectic musical universe filled with dub, reggae, electro, hiphop influences with sounds that are both contemporary and ethnic.

You will reach the concert site thanks to the exceptional opening of the Mont Chéry gondola*. After the concert at 9pm, the return trip is via a torchlight descent to Mont Caly with guides, where shuttles will be waiting for you to get back to the village.

Wednesday 12 August at 5 pm at the restaurant des Chevrelles at Mont Caly

Come and discover an amazing sound experience in the heart of the Mont Caly mountain pastures in the company of the duo An Eagle In Your Mind for an electro-folk aperitif in the middle of nature.

Friday 14 August on the Esplanade stage from 8:30 pm

To round off the festival on a high note, you will be served a cocktail of soul and funk with Electro Deluxe band that will thrill all generations. Electro Deluxe is the groove of the 70s that meets the French touch and electro of today.

In the first part, you will discover the duet Ilaria & Franceso Forni mixing guitar and ukulele for a smooth show with blues and folk accents.

The Lounge also offers a multitude of free concerts in the resort’s bars and restaurants as well as on the Esplanade stage.

The festival will also be punctuated with sports, fun and cultural activities that will liven up your days.
